HEALTH AWARENESS:

"Help Fight HIV/AIDS and Malaria in Africa"

Health Awareness: Humanity for Africa Foundation promotes good health in the community through the provision of medical supplies and facilities and health awareness programs. People walk every day without noticing the estimated number of HIV/AIDS and Malaria patents living and dying in our communities. In Africa, HIV/AIDS and Malaria are threatening to wipe out decades of investments in education and human development. African countries are the first wave of the AIDS epidemic. AIDS and Malaria are the leading cause of death in Africa.

A recently published report by the Boston Globe shows that more than 22.5 million people in Africa carry the HIV virus. Our study reveals that adults as well as adolescents have a disproportionately higher risk of AIDS and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. The same study therefore shows that programs to increase self-protective behaviors are in urgent need. Humanity For Africa Foundation wants to eradicate HIV/AIDS transmission and Malaria in Africa in collaboration with World Agencies such as the Red Cross and the United Nations. The Foundation teaches and provides AIDS information, prevention, treatment, and care, and provides support to AIDS victims. Thus, the Foundation promotes health and wellness by providing sustained health education; medical supplies; training and community mobilization programs that partner with other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOS), African communities, International and Government agencies to ensure that investments into health in Africa achieve the desired results in the spirit of the Millennium Development Goals set by the United Nations.

The objectives of Humanity For Africa Foundation, Inc HIV/AIDS and Malaria program are:

    • To support and sponsors programs that are ensuring equal access to HIV and or Malaria prevention, support and treatment, regardless economic status, gender, sexual orientation or social status
